DA3 Project 2 Brainstorm Blog

Towards the start of this project, I was in high hopes of advancing on what I had learned last semester in Blender and just making my characters more realistic, advanced and creative. I had been thinking weeks in advance as to what I wanted to do but I couldn't wrap my head around a topic or interest and, for a while, was discouraged although when Professor Corrina invited me to join her and her art-partner, David, to help them out with one of their own projects, I instantly knew what I wanted to do. For their project, we went into Denver to the Tanner Studio Lumonics to 3D model some of the work in that incredible studio. I found that being able to use new, high powered technology to 3D model essentially anything was groundbreaking and I want to use that for my project while also using blender. My process will be to upload those GLTF files into Blender and play around until I can make the statues that I captured look like they are real and moving. Im planning on doing a few statues around the CU campus and maybe even reach out to the school to see if they could possibly/ would possibly want to incorporate my work onto their website. not exactly sure how that would work but I definitely think it could be really cool and worthwhile! Here is some of the artwork that I 3D modeled with Corrina and David :)
