I apologize for not updating this blog regularly. I will make an effort to keep it current moving forward. During week three, we explored the process of integrating Photoshop images into After Effects and ensuring that each layer remains editable. I thoroughly enjoyed working on the initial project; I found the design and prompt to be charming and potentially marketable as a real company or product. I experimented with different color concepts and enhanced the gradient on the cups to add a touch of sophistication and a bit of my own flair. The project began with a gradual introduction of the stripes on the screen, followed by the appearance of the cups. Aligning the cups to create a kissing motion posed a challenge, ensuring that both hearts touched perfectly for a coherent and well-paced animation. The final phase involved timing the appearance of text on the screen, which I believe (and my TA) could have been improved. Given more time, I would delay the text's entry to avoid a rushed animation. Overall, I am pleased with how the project turned out, and I found the concept art to be exceptionally cute. I am eager to share more of my work in the near future!
